Fatal accident in the Leninsky district of Crimea: very young driver and passenger of VAZ died

The police and the prosecutor’s office are establishing the circumstances of a fatal accident in the Leninsky district of Crimea. According to the traffic police, the accident that claimed two young lives happened at one in the morning on July 23, on the Kerch-Chistopolye-Novootradnoye highway.

A 19-year-old driver, driving a VAZ 211440 car, moving from the side of the village. Belinskoye in the direction of Kerch, made an exit to the lane intended for oncoming traffic, as a result of which he collided with a VAZ 210990 car moving in the opposite direction, driven by a 23-year-old driver. As a result of an accident, the driver of a VAZ 211440 car died on the spot before the ambulance arrived, a 16-year-old passenger died in an ambulance, a 16-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The driver of the second VAZ was also hospitalized. The fact of the traffic accident is being investigated, the circumstances of the incident are being established.

The investigation is under the control of the prosecutor’s office. The necessary verification measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
