The police are conducting an investigation into an accident in the Pervomaisky district of Crimea, as a result of which a person died. The accident happened this afternoon, at 13:15, on the 60th km of the Simferopol – Krasnoperekopsk highway.
The driver, born in 1989, driving a cargo vehicle «Man», moving in the direction of Krasnoperekopsk from Simferopol, without constantly monitoring the traffic, without choosing a safe distance from the car in front which was detouring «Gazelle Next» (which was carrying out road work, namely, applying road markings), as a result of which he collided with a Kamaz with a semi-trailer driven by a citizen born in 2003, who, as a result of the collision, continued its inertial movement and collided with a Daewoo Nexia, followed by a collision with a Gazelle Next car.— the traffic police clarified the circumstances of the accident.
As a result of a traffic accident, the passenger of the Deo Nexia was fatally injured. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Pervomaisky District worked at the scene of the incident. An investigation is being carried out and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
Let us note that this accident caused serious congestion on the highway; transport was redirected to a detour, through the field road of the village of Kashtanovka.
