Fatal accident on the Alushta-Sudak highway: the VAZ driver died

Today, on the Alushta-Sudak highway, in the section between the villages of Veseloye and Morskoye, an accident occurred in which a person died. Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision between the VAZ and foreign cars. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea, employees of the Sudak emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS”, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea, the fire department of the village of Morskoye, as well as the ambulance and the traffic police went to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

As a result of the accident, one of the drivers received injuries of varying severity and was transported to an ambulance. The other driver, unfortunately, received non-life threatening injuries and was pinned by the vehicle structures. Rescuers used a hydraulic rescue tool to unblock the body of the deceased. Firefighters also carried out all the necessary measures to ensure fire safety at the scene of the accident, including washing off fuel and lubricants from the roadway— reported the emergency department.
