CrimeaPRESS reports:
Traffic police officers are investigating the circumstances of an accident on the Simferopol-Yalta highway. The accident, in which the driver of a passenger car died, happened this morning at 11:20 at the exit from the Crimean capital.
The driver of a VAZ-2108 car, moving from the side of the village. Pionerskoye in the direction of Simferopol, on the right rounding of the road, allowed the vehicle to skid with subsequent exit into the oncoming lane, where a collision with a Volkswagen Crafter minibus occurred. As a result of an accident, the driver of a VAZ-2108 car was fatally injured— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
There were 6 people in the minibus, two of them were children. The injured were treated on the spot.
Verification activities are being carried out, the results of which will be given a legal assessment, including the actions of the carrier. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation— noted in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The prosecutor’s office also joined the investigation.
