Fatal accident on the Simferopol — Alushta highway: the woman who caused the accident died

Police are investigating the fatal accident. As the traffic police clarified, the accident that claimed the life of a female driver happened this morning (at 8:55) on the Simferopol — Alushta highway, near the village. Pionerskoye-2, Simferopol district.

A 36-year-old woman, driving a Skoda Rapid car when turning left from the adjacent territory when entering the main road towards Alushta, did not give priority to the 29-year-old driver of a Skoda Octavia, who was moving along the main road in the direction of Simferopol. As a result of a traffic accident, the driver of the Skoda Rapid was injured and was taken to a medical facility, where she subsequently died— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol region worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
