The police are conducting an investigation into an accident on the Simferopol — Krasnoperekopsk highway, which resulted in the death of a woman passenger in a car. The accident happened the night before (at 19:55) on the 51st km of the highway, in the Saki district.
A driver born in 1992, driving a MITSUBISHI LANСER car, moving from Krasnoperekopsk in the direction of Simferopol, did not take into account the road situation, features and condition of the vehicle, and allowed it to leave the roadway to the right, followed by overturning. As a result of a traffic accident, a passenger born in 1976 was fatally injured. The driver and three passengers, including a minor born in 2016, were hospitalized in a medical facility with injuries of varying severity.— the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Saki region worked at the scene of the incident. The circumstances of the accident are currently being established and an investigation is underway.
