CrimeaPRESS reports:
The police are conducting an investigation into an accident on the Simferopol — Nikolaevka highway, as a result of which a young man, the driver of the Lanos, died. The accident happened this afternoon, at 13:20, near the village of Demyanovka.
A driver born in 2006, driving a Chevrolet Lanos, moving towards Nikolaevka, did not choose a safe distance from the Kia Sid car moving in front, after which he drove off the road to the left, followed by overturning and hitting an obstacle (tree). As a result of a traffic accident, the driver of a Chevrolet Lanos was fatally injured— reported the traffic police.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol region are working at the scene of the incident. The circumstances of the accident are currently being established and an investigation is underway.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds drivers to be extra vigilant on the road in hot weather.
