Police are establishing the circumstances of a fatal accident in the Belogorsk region. As the traffic police clarified, the accident in which the driver of the foreign car died occurred this afternoon (at 12:50) on the 149th km of the Tavrida highway.
The driver, born in 1955, driving a Volkswagen car, moving in the direction of Feodosia, lost control and allowed it to leave the roadway to the right and then overturn. As a result of the accident, the driver died, and the passenger, born in 1965, was injured and taken to a medical facility— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
State Traffic Inspectorate employees worked at the scene of the accident. An investigation into the traffic accident is underway and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
