Police are investigating the circumstances of a fatal accident involving a motorcyclist. As the traffic police clarified, the accident occurred today, at 11:30 on the Yalta-Sevastopol highway, near the village of Gaspra.
The 57-year-old driver of a Toyota RAV4, moving from Sevastopol in the direction of Yalta, for unknown reasons, entered the lane intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Suzuki motorcycle. As a result of the accident, the 40-year-old motorcycle driver died on the spot— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
An investigation into the traffic accident is underway and the circumstances of the incident are being established.
