Fatal accident on the Yalta-Sevastopol highway. The culprit is a drunken offender

The night before (at 20:40) an accident occurred on the Yalta-Sevastopol highway in which three people were injured, one of them died at the scene of the accident.
A 43-year-old driver, driving a Škoda Octavia, moving from Yalta in the direction of Sevastopol, did not select a safe speed on the right curve of the roadway, lost control and drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Volkswagen Golf «, which was moving in the opposite direction. As a result of a traffic accident, a 38-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Golf died at the scene of the accident from his injuries, and a 25-year-old young man and a 22-year-old girl were injured and hospitalized in a medical facility.
At the scene of the incident, administrative material was compiled regarding the driver of the Škoda Octavia under Part 1 of Art. 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (driving a vehicle by a driver who is intoxicated). Previously, the man was prosecuted for traffic violations— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Employees of the Yalta State Traffic Inspectorate worked at the scene of the accident. The circumstances and causes of the accident are being established and an investigation is being carried out.
