Fatal two hundred meter race in Simferopol. Doctor accused of child's death

In Simferopol, a doctor accused of causing the death by negligence of a 9th grade student at one of the schools during physical education classes will appear in court.
The prosecutor’s office of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Simferopol approved an indictment in a criminal case against a pediatrician at one of the clinics in Simferopol. She is charged under Part 2 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence)— reported the prosecutor’s office.
According to the investigation, in March of this year, the accused, being a pediatrician, without conducting a medical examination of a 9th grade student from one of the schools in Simferopol, who has limited health capabilities, issued him medical clearance to participate in a sports relay race.
During training sessions, after completing the standard “Running 200-250 meters”, the minor lost consciousness and was taken to a medical facility, where he diednoted the prosecutor’s office.
The criminal case was sent to the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Simferopol.
