A grouping from the Sevastopol city territorial subsystem of the RSCHs along with volunteers continued to work on the elimination of the consequences in the city. They collected soil polluted by fuel oil on the Blue Bay beach, took out bags from hard -to -reach places — the beaches of “Yashmovy” and “Golden”. The beaches of Omega, Victory Park, a coastal line on the north side and in Balaclava were monitored.
On February 5, 0.58 tons of soil contaminated with fuel oil were taken out. Over the entire time of work, 645.234 tons of soil were taken out.
February 6, due to the cold, volunteers are not involved in work. The excitement at sea does not allow you to take out bags on a boat from hard -to -reach beaches. The rescue service of Sevastopol today is engaged in preparing for further work.
