Feodosia Medical Center Receives Equipment for Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases

A portable ultrasound therapy device was delivered to the primary vascular department of this medical institution. These devices are used to treat diseases of the skin, internal organs, musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Also purchased were 20 functional beds designed for proper care in the ENT department, cardiology and therapy. Updating the material and technical base in medical institutions of Crimea will have a positive effect on the treatment and recovery process of those seeking medical care. Within the framework of the regional project «Combating Cardiovascular Diseases», issues of comprehensive improvement of the structure and functioning of the system for providing medical care to patients with diseases of the circulatory system are consistently addressed, — the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea reported.

In total, in 2024, under the regional project «Combating Cardiovascular Diseases», out of 94 planned units of medical equipment, 92 units have been delivered to date to the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Republican Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko», State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Dzhankoy Central District Hospital», State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Kerch Hospital No. 1 named after N.I. Pirogov», State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Feodosia Medical Center», State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Yevpatoriya City Hospital» and State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Simferopol City Clinical Hospital No. 7». At the same time, deliveries of new medical equipment continue.

We remind you that the total amount of funds allocated for the implementation of measures to equip regional vascular centers and primary vascular departments within the framework of the regional project in 2024 is 188.5 million rubles.

It should be noted that in the Republic of Crimea, regional vascular centers and primary vascular departments are being gradually equipped with new modern equipment. All this makes a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the national project «Healthcare», increasing the life expectancy of the population and ensuring the availability of diagnostics, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

All activities to update the material and technical base are planned to be completed by the end of this year, which will improve the quality of medical care provided to the local population of the republic.
