Ferry service between the Crimean Peninsula and Krasnodar Krai will be supported
CrimeaPRESS reports:
5.7 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget to support ferry service between the sea ports of Kerch and Kavkaz. This was reported on the official portal of the Government of the Russian Federation. The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. The issue of funding this year was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation on July 11. The work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project «Development of the Infrastructure of Maritime and Inland Water Transport» of the state program «Development of the Transport System».
It is reported that the funds will be sent to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Research and Design Institute of Testing Machines, Instruments and Mass Measuring Equipment», which operates ferries running between the peninsula and mainland Russia. Currently, there are six ferries operating on the line for transporting passengers, delivering automobiles and railway equipment.
