Fertilizer scam. This also happens in Crimea

A suspect in nitrate fertilizer fraud has been detained in Crimea.
The police received a report of fraud from a driver delivering saltpeter to the Razdolnensky district. An intermediary brought the driver together with the buyer. After loading 30 tons of saltpeter, the intermediary invited the driver to accompany him, where the customer had to hand over payment for the goods in the amount of 720 thousand rubles. However, upon arrival at the specified address, the driver did not wait for payment, and the intermediary stopped answering calls. The attacker was wanted— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Soon, traffic police officers stopped the car on one of the highways of the peninsula and, when checking the databases, established that the man was wanted for committing crimes. Traffic police inspectors took the man to the police department. The victim was compensated for the damage.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Fraud”. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 6 years. The suspect is in custody.
