Festival of national cultures «Sevetnofest-2023» announced in Sevastopol

The festival of national cultures «Sevetnofest» this year will be held in Sevastopol for the second time. Its goal is the formation of all-Russian civil unity, the harmonization of interethnic relations, the ethno-cultural development of the peoples of Russia, and the familiarization of children and youth with the historical multinational heritage. Sevetnofest-2023 will combine several events:

  • July 13 — All-Russian educational forum «St. George’s ribbon as a connecting thread of generations» of the all-Russian public-state organization «Assembly of the Peoples of Russia». The event will take place at St. Universitetskaya, 33, SevGU, room. 420, hall «Sevastopol». Start at 10:30.
  • July 14 — Interregional scientific and practical conference «Sevastopol: history and ethnology» (more than 30 speakers in total). The event will take place at St. Lenina, 35. Beginning at 10:00.
  • July 15 — Festival of National Cultures «Sevetnofest» under the motto «There are many peoples — one country!» The program includes: exhibitions of national cultural societies of Sevastopol, a concert of folklore groups of Sevastopol and the Melitopol district of the Zaporozhye region, master classes in arts and crafts, thematic educational quizzes, sports relay races, a photo zone and much more. The festival will be held on the basis of the eco-park «Lukomorye» at st. Tarutinskaya, 38. Beginning at 16:00. Free admission.
  • July 16 – excursion program for participants from new regions.

The festival «Sevetnofest-2023» is supported by the Federal Agency for Nationalities, the Department of Internal Policy of Sevastopol and the Sevastopol City National Cultural Center.
