Festival «Saint Vladimir» in Sevastopol will be held in October

From October 21 to October 25, Sevastopol will host the IX International Festival of Film and Television Films of Spiritual and Moral Content «Saint Vladimir».
The selection committee accepted 373 applications from cinematographers from 33 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Latvia, France, Morocco, Egypt, Iraq and Iran. These are 142 feature short films and 17 full-length feature films, 89 full-length documentaries and 85 short documentaries, as well as 40 television films and TV programs. 45 works will be selected for participation in competitive nominations, 40 more — for out-of-competition screenings. The best films will also be determined in special nominations «For the Motherland!» and «Crimea in the frame»— noted in the organizing committee of the event.
The work of the jury is headed by film director, producer, scriptwriter Yuri Kara (“War Tomorrow”, “Thieves in Law”, “Master and Margarita”, “Star of the Epoch”, “Hamlet. 21st Century”).
The St. Vladimir Film Festival in Sevastopol is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Over the eight years of the film festival, almost 700 films of the competitive and out-of-competition programs were presented, which were seen by at least 34 thousand spectators in Sevastopol alone.
