Festival Square is being improved in Yevpatoria

In Yevpatoria, work continues on the improvement of Festival Square, which won the vote within the framework of the regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”

To date, the preparatory period of work to create conditions for carrying out basic landscaping and landscaping activities has been completed. Specialists from the contracting team have begun the installation of paths, platforms and car parking; it is also planned to install shade canopies, lanterns, benches, trash cans and other small architectural forms. After which they will begin work on planting trees, shrubs, lawns and flower beds, and arranging an irrigation system— reported the press service Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects (regional project office).

The entrance areas of the square are expected to be equipped with two ramps for people with limited mobility. The total cost of work is 54.75 million rubles. The current readiness of the facility is 32%.

The regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” is aimed at improving the urban environment and landscaping, increasing the share of cities with a favorable environment, as well as developing infrastructure, public spaces and creating a favorable urban environment for residents.
