FEZ regime will help build a high-speed highway from Crimea to Rostov-on-Don
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A new four-lane road from Crimea to the Rostov region along the coast of the Sea of Azov is planned to be built within the framework of the free economic zone (FEZ) of new regions. About it informed Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye Region Evgeny Balitsky on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The project is quite powerful — the construction of a road from Simferopol to Rostov by land. Kherson, Donetsk, Zaporozhye region and, probably, Rostov and Crimea will be involved in this project, using the free economic zone. The road will be broad-lane, four-laneBalitsky said.
He did not rule out that the new route will be paid.
Most likely, it will be paid, as an option, which will make it possible to recoup this project, create conditions for further receipt of project and implementation money. This project will enable the development of the coast of the Azov Sea, which has become inland, will create a large number of jobs, logistics centers and, in principle, develop the south of Russia— added the head of the Zaporozhye region.
As noted TASS, bills on the creation of a free economic zone in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the State Duma adopted in the first reading in April. At the end of May, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with members of Delovaya Rossiya, noted that it was urgent to adopt and accelerate the entry into force of a law on the creation of a free economic zone in new regions of the country.
