CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Simferopol District Prosecutor’s Office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 21-year-old local resident. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
The court found that the defendant, while in the village of Sofievka, near his house, during a quarrel with a neighbor, stabbed him four times in the neck and several blows in the chest. The victim died in an ambulance as a result of stab wounds— reported the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the young man to 8 years in prison to serve the sentence in a maximum security correctional colony.
