Filming has begun on the adventure film for the whole family “Artek. The Great Journey: 1812″ — the sequel to the film «Artek. Big Journey”, which has already won the hearts of viewers. The film is timed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the most famous children’s camp in Russia, Artek, and will become one of the main events of the celebrations in 2025.
Teenager Mitya’s journey through different time periods is not only a fun adventure, but a fascinating excursion into the history of our country.
Arriving at Artek’s Jubilee shift, Mitya (Timofey Popovich) displays selfishness, bad character and extreme disrespect for others. Magically, in the company of an absurd and funny camp employee Ptichkin (Roman Postovalov), he is transported to 1925, where the heroes solve the problem of how they can return home and what they need to do for this. But a series of their mistakes leads to the fact that they will have to go through a long historical path.
The production of the film is carried out by the film company «Fresh-Film», the directors of the project are Armen Ananikyan and Karen Zakharov, continuing to work as a close-knit creative tandem.
The film is expected to be released in cinemas in June 2025.
In the film “Artek. Big Journey: 1812″ viewers will meet the characters who will be embodied on the screen by actors — Roman Postovalov, Timofey Popovich (the main character is Mitya), Mikhail Galustyan, Vitaly Gogunsky, Alya Mayer, Olga Krasko, Dmitry Miller, Ilya Noskov, Sergey Stepanchenko, Sergey Batalov, Leon Tafara and others.
