Fiolent checked the readiness of bike paths and sidewalks

Today in Sevastopol they checked the progress of work on the arrangement of bicycle paths and sidewalks on Monastyrskoye and Fiolentovskoye highways. The construction readiness of facilities with a length of about 17 km is currently more than 60%.

Today, together with construction control, we checked the progress of work. There are no complaints about the pace and quality. Of course, during the renovation, requests from local residents also arise. We are working on all this in working mode. After this, the contractors will begin applying markings. It is planned to install 24 pedestrian crossings on Fiolentovskoye and Monastyrskoye highways.

It is also planned to install drive-in pockets for public transport along the roads, which will increase the speed of vehicles. Additionally, 10 stopping pavilions will be installed according to a new model.

We plan to complete the work by the end of the year. But, given the importance of these transport arteries, contractors are instructed to work at an accelerated pace. Every day, about 50 people and 15 pieces of equipment are involved in the construction of bicycle paths and sidewalks, which made it possible to achieve 60% readinessnotes Nikolai Maksimov.
