Fire alarm in a shopping center in Simferopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Fire safety in crowded places is under special control of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea. To practice actions during a fire, fire-tactical exercises are held in shopping centers. The day before, in a construction hypermarket in Simferopol, a training session on the 3rd rank of challenge took place.

According to the tactical plan, due to an equipment short circuit, a fire occurred in the format-cut area for cutting wood materials on the 1st floor. The administration organized the evacuation of personnel and the transfer of information to fire and rescue department dispatchers.

Combat crews arrived at the scene of the simulated incident, deployed forces and equipment, and laid trunk lines. A fire extinguishing headquarters was organized and the formation of GZDS units was formed. During the reconnaissance, victims were found who were unable to leave the premises on their own. Firefighters evacuated them to fresh air and handed them over to emergency personnel.— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.

In total, it took about an hour to extinguish the mock fire, from the RSChS: 90 people and 27 pieces of equipment, of which from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations: 52 personnel, 14 pieces of equipment.
