Fire at an oil depot in Feodosia: what is known now

Circumstances of the emergency
- Advisor to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov reportedthat in the morning there was a fire at the Feodosia oil depot.
- Firefighters are at the scene.
- According to the mayor, there is no fuel spill or environmental threat.
- In connection with the incident at the oil depot, traffic was blocked on Geologicheskaya and Fedko streets from the intersection with the Kerch highway to the bus station area.
- City transport schedules have been adjusted.
- About 300 people are being evacuated from Feodosia.
Consequences
- According to the latest data, there are no casualties or injuries.
Authorities’ reaction
- A man-made emergency of a municipal nature has been introduced in Feodosia.
- Employees of the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol went to the scene of the fire to determine the level of harmful impurities in the air.
