Fire detectors are being installed in Crimea. According to the target program

In Russia, since 2018, there have been targeted programs at various levels aimed at providing free housing equipment for certain groups of the population. With the participation of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as part of social support, more than 570 fire detectors have already been installed on the peninsula since the beginning of the year. So, this week, employees of the department of supervisory activities and preventive work installed fire detectors in eight large families of Sudak. They were given detailed instructions on the need to comply with fire safety rules at home. In addition, inspectors warned parents about the threat of a fire due to children’s pranks and handed out fire safety notices, — reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea.

Let us remind you that autonomous smoke fire detectors are devices that operate from an autonomous power source. Their performance can be determined by the blinking of the red LED installed on the housing. Currently, this device is one of the most effective for detecting fire at an early stage. The main purpose of the sensor is to notify people about a fire.

The fire detector responds to smoke particles trapped inside with an audible signal. Moreover, the sound is so loud that it can wake up even a sound sleeper.

The average service life of the device is 10 years. The battery only needs to be changed once a year.

This work continues in all cities and regions of the peninsula and is under the special control of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Crimea.
