Fire-fighting regime: motorized groups of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and mounted patrols patrol the natural areas of Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
During the fire season, open natural areas are primarily at risk. Now in Sevastopol, the 4th — high — class of fire danger is observed, a special fire regime is in force, according to which a temporary ban on visiting forests has been introduced.
During this period, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia pay special attention to patrolling forest and park areas. Vehicles for such work need fast and mobile ones — therefore, consolidated cavalry squads are involved, consisting of Cossacks and employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, as well as an emergency response motorized group of the emergency department. To notice the first signs of fire in time and prevent it from developing into a major forest fire — these are the goals that such formations face. If a fire is detected in the forest zone, they take independent actions for primary extinguishing and can, if necessary, call in additional forces. Interaction is also carried out with specialists from the supervisory authority of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia: if violators are noticed, the inspectors of the department can call for order and carry out explanatory work. In general, as part of preventive measures, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations remind all citizens visiting natural areas of the importance of observing fire safety rules and distribute themed leaflets.— reported the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for Sevastopol.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol calls on residents and guests of the city: protect the natural resources of our region from fires! If you notice smoke or flames in an open area, immediately report it to the Emergencies Ministry of Russia at the number «101»!
