Fire in Krasnogvardeisky district: it took an hour and a half to extinguish the building

Yesterday, at 09:45, the operator on duty at the Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea received a signal about a fire in the village. Novopokrovka Krasnogvardeisky district. The duty shift of the PC was sent to the scene of the incident. Pyatikhatka «Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea» consisting of 3 people. and 1 piece of equipment, as well as employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
Upon arrival, firefighters found out that an outbuilding was on fire on the territory of a private household. There is a threat of fire spreading to a residential building. Firefighters laid hose lines and began extinguishing the fire. As a result, the fire was localized and extinguished within 1.5 hours. The area was 16 square meters. Thanks to the prompt and well-coordinated work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it was possible to avoid further spread of the fire. As a result of the incident, the outbuilding was completely destroyed by fire. There were no casualties. Experts find out the reasons,” noted the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Crimea.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea draws the attention of residents and guests of the peninsula to the need to comply with safety measures:
- do not leave household electrical appliances plugged in unattended;
- Make sure that the electrical wiring is in good condition, do not use damaged electrical appliances and electrical sockets;
- operate electrical appliances in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturer’s operating instructions;
- do not plug several powerful electricity consumers into one power outlet at the same time, overloading the power grid;
- in order to avoid the spread of fire from one building to another, clear the territory of household yards and garage cooperatives from debris and dry grass;
