Today at 15:45 the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message about a fire in the courtyard of the Lotsman shopping center in Simferopol. Fire and rescue units of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea were immediately sent to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that waste paper had caught fire outside the shopping center building. Units quickly began extinguishing the fire. 70 people were evacuated from the building by the administration.— the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Kalmykia reported.
The area of the fire was 20 square meters. The fire was localized at 16:18, and completely extinguished at 17:00. In total, 13 personnel and 4 units of equipment from the Russian Emergencies Ministry were involved in extinguishing the fire.
