Fire-tactical exercises were held in the Saki region

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the Saki region, on the territory of the Chebotarsky special boarding school, fire-tactical exercises were held. According to the plan, as a result of a short circuit in the electrical wiring, a fire broke out in the assembly hall of the administrative building. The first actions were taken by the management of the boarding school — they called the firefighters and began an urgent evacuation of children and staff from the building.

A few minutes after the call was received, firefighters from the Evpatoria Fire and Rescue Garrison and emergency services specialists arrived at the scene. After conducting reconnaissance, firefighters immediately began practicing actions to save people and extinguish the fire. The GDZS team evacuated a school employee who was unable to get out of the smoke-filled room on his own— they spoke about the progress of the exercises in the emergency department.
