Yesterday afternoon, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a signal about a fire in the area of ​​the village of Plotinnoye, in the Bakhchisaray region.

Fire department employees from the urban settlement of Kuibyshevo, fire department from the village of Krasny Mak of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea» and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea left for the scene. Upon arrival, it became known that 1,000 bales of straw were burning on the territory of a private livestock farm. Due to the wind, the fire was spreading quickly, there was a risk of the flames spreading to nearby outbuildings.

Through joint efforts, the fire was extinguished in 8 hours on an area of ​​1 hectare. At the same time, about 5 hours were spent on sorting out and pouring smoldering straw.
