FIU in Sevastopol: parents receiving pensions for disabled children are advised to transfer the payment. Where?
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Pension Fund Specialists in Sevastopol: if a parent issues a child’s disability pension payment to their nominal account or an account in the name of the child at the bank, then all social payments received to such accounts will be protected from any deductions to pay debts.
Let us remind you that there is a special procedure for the delivery of pensions to underage children with disabilities*. Despite the fact that the child has the right to a pension, the payment can be transferred both to the child’s bank account and to the account of his legal representative (parent, adoptive parent, guardian, custodian). There are cases when deductions are made from the pension of a disabled child credited to the personal account of a parent if enforcement proceedings are initiated against the parent. At the same time, the arrest or recovery of funds in a nominal bank account owned by a parent is not allowed , the press service of the department says.
To avoid the risk of deductions from the pension to pay off the debts that have arisen, the Sevastopol Department of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation recommends that parents of children with disabilities transfer the delivery of the child’s pension in the bank to a nominal account or an account in the name of the child himself.
After registering a nominal account or an account in the name of the child at the bank branch, it is necessary to submit a new application for the delivery of a pension to the FIU. This can be done without visiting the fund’s client services — in the citizen’s personal account on the PFR website es.pfrf.ru or on the public services portal www.gosuslugi.ru.
