Five game creators will represent the Republic of Crimea at the finals of the All-Russian competition “Start a Game”

The final of the competition will be held from March 1 to March 5, 2024 in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Five game creators from Simferopol, Feodosia and Sudak will represent the Republic of Crimea at the finals of the All-Russian competition “Start a Game” of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”. All of them claim to win in the individual direction “Partnership case”. The leaders in the Unity developer profession are:

• Dmitry Bodrykh, 10th grade student at school-gymnasium No. 39 named after. Ya.G. Kreizer of Simferopol;
• Yaroslav Reznikov, 10th grade student at school-gymnasium No. 39 named after. Ya.G. Kreizer of Simferopol;
• Ivan Kolesnik, individual entrepreneur.

Among those studying the “Gamifier” profession, the general director of Altrena Plus LLC, Alexander Leskov, distinguished himself, and the “Designer” profession was conquered by a second-year student at the Moscow Financial and Industrial University “Synergy” Alisa German.

Final of the second season of the All-Russian competition for searching and developing talents in the gaming industry “Start the Game” of the presidential platform “Russia is a land of opportunity” will be held from March 1 to March 5, 2024 in the Republic of Tatarstan.

More than 400 creators of video and mobile games from 60 regions of Russia, as well as from four foreign countries – Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Belarus and Lithuania – received an invitation to the final of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game”. Over the course of four days, they will have to solve cases from partners and defend their original developments to investors.

The All-Russian competition “Start the Game” is supported by the Supervisory Board of the ANO “Russia – Land of Opportunities” chaired by the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin. The competition is a large-scale platform for the development of young people’s competencies and knowledge in the field of development and management of game projects, as well as the implementation of capable youth in professions in the games industry.

The final of the “Start the Game” project will be held in the IT Park named after. Bashir Rameev — the largest technology park in Kazan. The guests of honor will be heads of executive authorities, representatives of IT companies and game studios, as well as gaming industry experts.

The winners and runners-up in the “Partnership Case” area will be determined by the results of the final competitive tests. They will be held online and offline. The tasks involve both individual and team solutions. The results of the Gaming Projects Accelerator will be summed up after presentations of gaming products for PCs and mobile devices developed as part of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game”. Who has grown the most professionally will be announced on March 4, 2024 at the awards ceremony.

In addition to determining the winners and prize-winners, the final program of the All-Russian competition “Start the Game” will include an open business program, which residents and guests of the Republic of Tatarstan will be able to freely attend. Finalists will receive lectures and master classes from eminent representatives of the gaming industry, as well as a “Career Lounge”, where they can be interviewed for vacancies at game development studios and IT companies.
