The All-Russian Children’s Center «Smena» hosted the semi-final of the anniversary, fifth season of the All-Russian competition «Big Change» for schoolchildren in grades 8–10, where 19 children from Sevastopol competed for the title of finalists. Over the course of a week, schoolchildren who were semi-finalists of the fifth season of the competition collected individual competency development cards and designed cases, and participated in master classes from leading figures in science and education.

Through Big Break, participants can develop their competencies by working with peers and teacher mentors. For us they are all already winners– the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the regional coordinator of the All-Russian project “Navigators of Childhood” Natalya Zagorodnaya.

The final will take place at the Artek International Children’s Center in October, where 1,500 schoolchildren will gather. “Big Change” for me is a symbol of change and development. This is not just a competition, but a way of life that teaches me to be better, develop and inspire others. Participating in the finals of the “Big Change” competition is a really cool opportunity for personal growth, expanding my circle of acquaintances and professional contacts, as well as improving my skills and knowledge in real cases. «Big Change» is a movement that is changing the lives of many people, including my own, – notes Maxim Borsuk from gymnasium No. 7.

Let us remind you that the All-Russian competition “Big Change” is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Education” and is part of the line of the “Russia – Land of Opportunities” platform.
