Five thousand people visited the exhibition «The Present Future» in Sevastopol in three days

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The exhibition-festival «The Present Future», which opened on July 8 on Primorsky Boulevard, was visited by about five thousand people in three days. The main sections of the exposition are devoted to the topics of development, human security and empowerment, space exploration and energy, interaction with the environment, new modes of transport, useful games and educational models.

Five information systems are presented at the Sevastopol booth of the exhibition: the Safe City APK, the ARGUS urban video surveillance system, the Digital Educational Environment of Sevastopol, the Green Fund departmental information system, and the automated information system for electronic interaction between business and government. Also, a special section of the exhibition is dedicated to the developments of the Sevastopol State University. A prototype of an active transfemoral prosthesis, a model of a universal robotic vertical take-off and landing UAV-based robotic platform, a remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicle and other exhibits are presented.

The exhibition is a great opportunity to tell residents and guests of the city about new technologies, including our regional projects — in the first few days we felt genuine interest in both the interactive stand of the Digital Sevastopol and the exhibition in in general. We are very grateful to the organizers for the opportunity and look forward to further cooperation , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Digital Development of Sevastopol Alexander Osipova.

The Present Future exhibition introduces visitors to the world of Russian technology: residents and guests of the city can see drones for search and rescue operations, midget spacecraft engines, air taxis, and art installations. As noted by the project manager, creative producer of the exhibition «The Present Future» Inna Prilezhaeva, a concentrated creative space has been created on the territory of Sevastopol, in which many languages and contexts are combined.

This became possible thanks to the involvement of various communities in the work on the exhibition: developers, artists, musicians, designers, students and schoolchildren. And the versatility and multiplicity of meanings, in turn, generates the energy of inventing and sets the prospect for the development of domestic innovations , — emphasizes Inna Prilezhaeva.

The exhibition-festival offers different scenarios for immersing yourself in the world of innovation: you can explore the exposition on your own, use audio and video prompts, or download the exhibition’s audio guide using a QR code in the hall or in advance in the Izi Travel application.

Children and teenagers aged from 12 years at the exhibition can master the games «Practices of the Future», developed by the NTI Circle Movement team with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. Games allow you to get acquainted with current technological challenges, gain a scenario vision, form a proactive position regarding the desired image of the future.

Our children and our people are very talented and moving in the right direction. It is important that children learn how it works from a young age, it’s great , — says Anatoly, a graduate of the Moscow State University branch in Sevastopol.

The visitors are introduced to the exposition by a team of mediators who act as guides. At the exit of the tent, everyone can share their ideas by writing them down on the innovation bulletin board or in audio format.

Also 12 July at 12: 00 on the summer stage «Rakushka» everyone can attend the presentation of youth projects — participants of the accelerator «Real Future: Russian Electronics». Acceleration sessions were held in May and June in nine cities of the country, more than 65 youth teams took part in them. 11 July as part of the project-educational intensive «Archipelago 2022» will be presented 12 of the best projects: from boards for unmanned aerial vehicles and underwater devices to smart clothes based on graphene.

Recall that the exhibition is open from July 8 to 17 from : 00 before 23: 00. Registration is required via the link or the QR code at the entrance.
