The influenza vaccination campaign in Sevastopol has already begun — the vaccine has already been received and distributed to the city’s polyclinics.
We have received influenza vaccines for children, pregnant women, people with chronic diseases and adults— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the chief freelance epidemiologist of the Sevastopol Health Department Sergey Gryga.
Doctors say that vaccination remains the main measure for preventing influenza.
I call on all Sevastopol residents to go and get vaccinated. All the vaccine we have has proven itself well, we have been using it to immunize the population for more than a year, it works. Separately, I want to appeal to parents to give consent for the vaccination of their children. The vaccine is available in all vaccination rooms of Sevastopol clinics, you can get vaccinated without an appointment. Vaccination of children in schools and kindergartens will be organized centrally, by groups — the vaccine is already being distributed to educational institutions.
