FMBA of Russia in Crimea purchases equipment and improves diagnostics
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The introduction of new methods of high-tech medical care, which is constantly taking place in the branch of the FSCC FMBA of Russia in the Crimea, also requires the improvement of diagnostics. And here the responsibility for the most accurate and correct examination falls on the shoulders of the staff of the radiology department of the branch of the FSCC FMBA of Russia in the Crimea.
I consider the beginning of our work with a team of neurosurgeons in the aspect of stereotaxic surgery to be the most important and new. To be honest, the arrival of a team of medical luminaries was a challenge for our department, because the request for diagnostics from colleagues is as high as their professional level.— the press service of the branch quotes the head of the radiology department Valeria Gevorgyan.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the branch management and doctors, the software of the MRI scanner was upgraded. Now it gives even more accurate results on the thinnest tomograms.
For the convenience of patients, two compact mobile X-ray machines were purchased for the department. These are portable units that are used right at the patient’s bedside. Chamber x-rays meet all modern methods of examination. But most importantly, they are easy to use, which reduces the time of the examination and allows you to get more accurate results.
Less high-tech, but very significant for the people of Yalta will be an updated fluorography apparatus, which will be installed in the city clinic No. 1 in the near future.
The old apparatus is tired of high loads and has exhausted its resource. Starting next week, the updated fluorograph will provide assistance to all patients who need this type of examination.says Valeria Gevorgyan.
These three points are only a small part of what has already been done to modernize the radiology department. And how much is still in the process of supply, purchase, repair …
As a person who was born and raised in Yalta, I am very pleased to see positive changes in our healthcare, and even more pleasant to be a part of them. Tomorrow we will be better than yesterday, and I think it’s wonderful— notes Valeria Gevorgyan, head of the department of radiation diagnostics of the branch of the Federal Scientific and Practical Center of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia in the Crimea.
