CrimeaPRESS reports:

Last weekend the matches of the 4th round of the Crimean Football Union Premier League championship of the 2024 season took place. However, two games — GFC Yalta — Tavria and Ocean — Sparta-KT were postponed to reserve days. Relevant solution accepted by the CFU competition committee. The reason for the transfer is the mass poisoning of players from Simferopol “Tavriya” and “Sparta” from the village of Molodeznoye.

Accident? Evil intent? Stale food? These questions will be answered not only by Rospotrebnadzor specialists, but also by investigators.

It is reported that the Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has put under control an investigation into information about the mass poisoning of athletes in Simferopol.

The media reported the poisoning of football players from two teams in the city of Simferopol in the Republic of Crimea. On April 26 of this year, the athletes who were at the Krymteplitsa training complex showed signs of an intestinal infection. The victims required medical attention, one of them was hospitalized. A procedural check was organized at the Main Investigative Directorate of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, put the progress of the procedural check under control in the central office of the department and instructed the head of the Main Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Nikolaevich Terentyev, to submit a report on its preliminary and final results— reported to the Investigative Committee.
