For a drunken conflict and beating a friend, a resident of the Bakhchisarai district will spend 5 years in a colony

Joint drinking with friends of alcohol turned into a conflict, as a result of which one inflicted several blows to the head, which entailed the death of the victim through negligence. The Bakhchisarai District Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced the guilty to five years in prison with serving a sentence in a maximum security penal colony.

The materials of the criminal case found that in early August last year in the evening of the day in one of the villages of the Bakhchisarai district, the company of men drank alcohol. During the drinking, when discussing household topics, a quarrel occurred between the two friends.

One of them, a man born in 1993, during the conflict, inflicted his acquaintance with his fists and elbow, born in 1985, at least 3 strokes in the head area. With his intentional actions, the defendant caused the victim of bodily harm in the form of a closed head injury, as a result of which the death of the latter occurred after a few hours.

At the hearing, the defendant agreed with the accusation, completely pleaded guilty.

The court came to the conclusion about the guilt of the defendant and the correctness of the qualification of his actions under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, dangerous to the life of a person who entailed by negligence the death of the victim.

The court granted a civilian claim of the victim’s mother in full and ordered the defendant to pay 56,750 rubles in her favor, to reimburse material damage, as well as 200,000 rubles, in a compensation for compensation for non -pecuniary damage, and to recover 25,6,750 rubles.

The verdict did not enter into legal force.
