CrimeaPRESS reports:

In the State Dining Room of the Livadia Palace, the exhibition “From New Acquisitions of the Livadia Palace Museum” is presented, including some of the exhibits included in the museum’s collection from 2018 to 2023.

During this period, the collection of the palace museum and the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation were replenished with over 600 items, a significant part of which were donated to the museum by individuals and organizations: museum director Larisa Dekusheva, Evgeny Kuzov (Sevastopol), Yuri Peresypkin (Lugansk) , the Zasimov family (Sergiev Posad), as well as the Cosmonautics Development Assistance Fund (Moscow) and Iffa LLC (St. Petersburg)— reported the Ministry of Culture of Crimea.

Among the exhibits are works of decorative and applied art from the 19th – early 20th centuries. Particular attention of visitors will be attracted by the collection of cutlery and serving items with an exquisite set for ice cream from the jewelry company «Franz Mosgau», a porcelain tea set decorated with Rocaille style ornaments in characteristic colors — blue (royal) and pink (pompadour) according to the type of production at the Popov factories and Gardner in the Russian Empire at the beginning of the nineteenth century.

Contemporary works of art occupy a worthy place at the exhibition: the icon “Holy Queen Alexandra” by masters from Sergiev Posad, painted by private order in 2017; the “Romanovs” coffee service, made in 2019 in Zlatoust by the “New Style” art studio, small plastic items — figurines by Luhansk sculptor Yuri Peresypkin, depicting members of the family of Russian Emperor Nicholas II.
