For five months of 2023, employees of the Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea responded to calls more than 3,800 times

For five months of the current year, the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» carried out 3809 trips, of which 284 were to eliminate fires, 29 — to ensure fire safety of incidents related to emergency rescue operations, 335 — to carry out preventive work with the population, 776 — for fire-tactical classes and 1761 — for fire drill training, 517 — others (departure to check the external fire-fighting water supply, conducting open lessons in educational institutions, ensuring fire safety of mass events, etc.).

According to Sergey Stashenko Head of the GKU RK «Fire protection of the Republic of Crimea» Sergey Stashenko, To date, the GKU RK «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» is the largest subordinate institution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea. The staff number is 592 people. At the moment, 30 fire departments and 6 separate posts have been created and are functioning effectively.

Also, on the occasion of the Day of the Fire Protection of Russia, the GKU RK “Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea”, the Government of the Republic of Crimea issued a certificate for the purchase of two off-road fire trucks based on the GAZ.

In all fire departments, maintenance of fire trucks is regularly carried out, the necessary set of measures is being taken to improve fire departments, and comfortable working conditions for firefighters are provided.— Sergey Stashenko notes.
