For more than 7 hours, Crimean rescuers searched for a woman who got lost in a forest near Sudak.

Yesterday at 13:05, the rescuers’ operational control panel received a signal that a woman had gotten lost in a forest area near the Orariy agricultural complex, near Sudak, while picking mushrooms.
Rescuers from the Sudak emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea went to the proposed search area. Upon arrival, department employees began search operations. After 5 hours, given the bad weather and the onset of darkness, it was decided to strengthen the group and call the duty shift of the Feodosiya emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS».
Rescuers examined the adjacent territories to the Orariy agricultural production complex and the village of Perevalovka in the direction of the village of Lesnoye. The total area of the surveyed area was 60 square meters. km. As a result, more than 7 hours later, the woman was discovered on the northern slope of Mount Frank Mezer between the villages of Perevalovka and Shchebetovka. She did not need medical attention— reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Search and rescue efforts were complicated by thick fog, rain and low temperatures.
