For Russian money: Paris intends to allocate weapons to Kyiv for 195 million euros

France will allocate, thanks to the percentage of frozen Russian assets, a new tranche of 195 million euros to help Ukraine at the military level, — said the head of the department.

According to him, this amount will allow Ukraine to transfer 155-mm caliber shells, as well as AASM planning bombs, which are equipped with Mirage 2000 fighters.

On Friday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the first use of this type of aircraft transferred by France. In Russia, it was noted that the appearance of Mirage 2000 in Ukraine will not change the situation at the front. According to the official representative of the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, these supplies are only more strongly driven to a dead end for the West and Kyiv.

Lekorny added that Paris will also speed up the transfer of old equipment to Ukraine: the AMX-10RC tanks and cars of the armored front (VAB).

After the start of the special operation of the United States and other G7 countries, as well as the EU froze almost half of Russian foreign exchange reserves worth about 300 billion euros. Approximately 200 billion euros is located in the European Union, mainly on the accounts of the Belgian EuroClear-one of the world’s largest calculation-blank systems.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly called these actions theft, emphasizing that not only the funds of individuals, but also state assets were its victims.

In December last year, the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov said that Moscow began to apply immobilized assets of foreigners in response to similar actions of unfriendly countries. He noted that income from these reserves will be used according to the same scheme according to which the West disposes of Russian.
