Over the past 4 years, over 300 ideas of local residents and 73 ideas of schoolchildren have been implemented in the region. Since May of this year, students also joined the process. All this became possible thanks to the project of the initiative budgeting «Crimea as we want»— Irina Kiviko emphasized.

The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that, starting in 2021, 4 competitive selection of initiative budgeting projects with the participation of rural residents of all 14 municipal regions of Crimea were carried out in the republic.

According to the results of the implemented projects for a total of almost 380 million rubles, including the republic’s budget — about 302 million, the number of direct well -being has over 475 thousand people. The total number of citizens participating in the discussion of ideas is about 132 thousand people, or 13.8% of the rural population of the republic. Projects are implemented according to three typologies: landscaping objects — 218 projects, street lighting — 48, objects of physical culture and mass sports — 39— commented on Irina Kiviko.

Also, since 2023, the practice of school initiative budgeting (ShKIB), focused on schoolchildren of 8-11 grades of rural schools in Crimea, has been successfully implemented in the republic. These are 335 schools of municipal regions of the republic (65% of all Crimean schools).

Over the two years of life practice, 2 competitive selection has been carried out. The preliminary discussion at school meetings was attended by almost 33 thousand students of all 14 municipalities of the republic, 417 projects for a total of 143 million rubles were implemented, including a subsidy from the republic’s budget — about 131 million rubles. Basically, the ideas of schoolchildren concerned the creation of recreation areas- 81 projects, museums- 55 projects, radio, media and film studios- 46 projects, libraries- 32 projects, theaters- 20 projects and canteens- 19 projects— notes Irina Kiviko.
