For students of the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky in Simferopol will build a new pool with a total area of ​​more than four thousand square meters. meters. This was reported in the press service of the Single Customer in the Construction Industry.

The new building will be part of the university’s educational and laboratory complex and will consist of three building blocks: a six-lane swimming pool, a multi-purpose sports hall, and administrative and utility rooms. There will be held sports and recreation and training sessions for both students and teachers. 48 people can use the pool at the same time— said the press service of the company.

The press service of the Single Customer added that in May 2023, the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia approved the pool construction project.

For the Crimean Federal University, two new dormitories for 250 and 450 people with a total area of ​​​​more than 13 thousand square meters are also being built. m. The buildings will create residential, administrative and utility rooms, including for accommodation of people with limited mobility.

The press service of the company reminded that it is planned to complete their construction in 2024. Sports grounds, open parking lots for guests, driveways and sidewalks will also appear on the territory of the dormitories.

Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky unites 13 institutes, 7 colleges and technical schools, a number of scientific centers. The main specialties are medicine, construction, agriculture, tourism, archeology, etc. The total number of university students is about 30 thousand people.
