For the Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Crimea — “CRIMEA-SPAS” hoisted the tricolor on the top of Chatyr-Dag

Rescuers of the Alushta emergency rescue team «CRIMEA-SPAS», members of the regional branch of the Russian Union of Rescuers of the Republic of Crimea, members of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society, climbed the highest point of Mount Chatyr-Dag — Eklizi-Burun. The height above sea level is 1527 meters.

According to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev, the ascent started from the Angarsk Pass and was about 7 km in one direction.

The ascent itself is quite difficult; a significant part of the route runs along a steep slope. The weather was favorable to the rescuers today; after traveling a long way, the participants unfurled the flag of the Republic of Crimea at the top. The rescuers treat him with a feeling of deep pride for the peninsula and its inhabitants, for their country, its power and independencethe minister emphasized.

Let us remind you that September 24 is the Day of the State Emblem and State Flag of the Republic of Crimea. The holiday has been celebrated on this day since 2016.
