For the Front: Engineer from Crimea Sets Up Home Workshop for Manufacturing Drop Parts
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Public assistance in the manufacture of stab guards and a shank is constantly needed — fighters use them to make drops from drones on the enemy every day. Thanks to ordinary Crimeans, the People’s Front delivers about a thousand parts every month, which become part of combat ammunition in the hottest positions on the Dnieper.
A Crimean electrical engineer with the volunteer call sign «Askalaf» saw news about folk craftsmen who make such parts and decided to join the «Kulibin» aid to the fighters.
I really liked the technology of creating parts from a simple piece of plastic. It is very addictive, and now it also helps our guys. Anyone can try and help the fighters bring victory closer with their own hands— shares “Askalaf”.
In just a month, he bought himself a 3D printer for home, learned everything from our experts and has already made a special order for reconnaissance in the Kherson direction.
The fighters are very grateful for this help, many of them have such 3D workshops equipped at their positions. But still, reliably receiving hundreds, and already thousands of such parts is a very important help and public support. Thanks to all the Crimean craftsmen who join the process, — says the head of the regional executive committee of the People’s Front in Crimea, Alla Vertinskaya.
