In the village of Ordzhonikidze near Feodosia, three visiting young people were defiled by a memorial dedicated to soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War. Young people shot their actions on a mobile phone to attract the attention of subscribers, the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to law enforcement officers, young people met on the embankment of Feodosia. Walking near the obelisk of fame, the two suggested a 17-year-old acquaintance to climb a monument, shoot a video and publish on social networks. So they expected to become popular and increase the number of subscribers. However, law enforcement officers quickly calculated the video.
A publication was discovered on the Internet, in which in the village of Ordzhonikidze the young man climbed to the top of the memorial dedicated to the memory of soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War, and two of his friends took off their actions on the cell phone camera— said in the message.
The inhabitants of Moscow, 18 and 19 years, as well as a 17-year-old resident of Podolsk, who arrived in Crimea for rest, were violators. They received confessions. The course of checking the circumstances of the defilest of the obelisk of Glory is under the control of the Republican prosecutor’s office.
Currently, police officers have established young people involved in the incident. Verification is carried out, all circumstances of the incident are established— said in the supervisory department.
Earlier it was reported that the State Duma adopted in the second and third readings a bill on criminal liability up to five years in prison for desecration objects perpetuating the memory of the dead during the protection of the Fatherland.
