It is really very important for us to be “for the sake of the country and art”: to create not just for our own sake and for our own self-expression, but so that new, bright young art appears in the country. We definitely understand that events for the sake of events are not effective. Therefore, for the entire Tavrida team in the big voyage of the new season, it is necessary to broadcast the same values and opportunities— says Ksenia Artemyeva, Deputy General Director for Educational Activities and Content of the Tavrida Art Cluster. — Crimea has always been the cradle of Russian culture, where outstanding artists worked. And we try to continue this tradition. The symbiosis of stunning views, modern infrastructure, bright experts and involved, active like-minded people is what allows us to create young art.
The regional team «Tavrida.ART» is a community of young and energetic people, participants in Tavrida.ART projects, blogosphere specialists and youth policy leaders who help open up new opportunities for young people in the regions of Russia and provide support in promoting the Tavrida art cluster «(project of Rosmolodezh). In 2024, the geography and composition of the regional team is expanding, it includes art residences of the federal network “Tavrida.ART”, representatives of universities and youth affairs committees. For the first time, the team includes international ambassadors who will represent the art cluster abroad.
Last year I took part in the educational race “Asia in Focus”, then I attended the festival and since then I have been very eager to become an ambassador of “Tavrida”. We have a lot of creative youth, and I am sure that the guys from Kyrgyzstan will be able to realize their dreams and goals heresays Nuriza Rakhmanova, ambassador from Kyrgyzstan.
I have been observing the art cluster and its projects for a long time, I have seen how large-scale events for the creative world are taking place here. Many talented guys reveal themselves when they get to Tavrida. Few participants come here from Abkhazia — I want to change this, that’s why I became an ambassador, — notes their ambassador of Abkhazia Tengiz Shanava.
During the meeting of the regional team «Tavrida.ART», the participants were presented with plans for the art cluster for 2024, in particular, educational trips and programs of the Meganom Academy, a festival of young art, an updated concept of art residences, a label, a magazine, integration into federal projects . Participants also learned details about a new project — youth creative communities designed to develop specialized creative industries throughout the country. The details were discussed at a working meeting with community leaders: Russian theater and film actor Aristarkh Venes, screenwriter, producer and director Danila Motin and artist, songwriter, resident of the Tavrida art cluster Vladimir Babenko.
During the work, participants from 82 regions will outline a vector of cooperation, learn about the intricacies of working with creative youth, and receive practical tools for involving talented creators from all over Russia in ongoing initiatives and projects of the art cluster. The program includes discussions and design workshops, master classes and gaming practices — everything so that, as a result, the teams leave for their regions with a working concept and a set of mechanics.
Throughout the year, representatives of the regional team will make public presentations for target audiences of Tavrida.ART projects, create and distribute content that will allow them to understand what Tavrida is and what opportunities the creative youth of Russia have.
