For tourists in Crimea, there is an information center at the Simferopol railway station
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the Simferopol railway station, a stationary Tourist Information Center of the Republic of Crimea (TIC RK) was opened for guests of Crimea, which is open throughout the New Year holidays.
This is already the second TIC of the Republic of Crimea and in 2024 the network will expand, reports Tourist portal of Crimea. On the eve of the summer season, before entering the Crimean Bridge from the Krasnodar Territory, a TIC of the Republic of Crimea was opened at the gas station.
TIC employees provide all kinds of advice to tourists on where and how to go, where to stay, what events or excursions to attend, as well as recommendations on various recreation options — from glamping to comfortable hotels.
Today, transport flows to Crimea have been redistributed in favor of road and railway transport. If previously the railway in the structure of tourist flow was 7-8%, then in the 2023 season it will be 28%. The number of vacationers who arrived on the peninsula by rail increased 2.5 timesnoted the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.
In the winter schedule, 4 trains depart daily to Crimea from Moscow, 1 daily from St. Petersburg and 4 trains from the regions — Omsk, Perm, and daily from Kislovodsk and Adler. In addition, the carrier company Grand Service Express scheduled 3 additional trains to Crimea from Moscow and St. Petersburg for the New Year holidays.
