The contractor intends to complete the work by November, but he has been tasked with opening full-fledged traffic on Geroev Sevastopolya Street by September.

Repairs to the underground crossing at the «Monument to the Sailor Cat» stop began in October 2023. A contract worth 292 million rubles was signed with the Krasnodar company «Dorstroykuban-19». According to its terms, the work must be completed by November 2024. But when starting construction, the contractor promised to complete it by summer — before the start of the tourist season.

The underground passage was built in 1980 with the participation of Sevmorzavod, since one of the plant’s checkpoints was located nearby.
